For some reason, Firefox is decoding the %25 (hex url encode of the "%" character) as a % after the link is clicked, and the server thinks the next two characters after it should be hexadecimal numbers, which they aren't. I'll have to look into that.

Go to my string scripts page and experiment with URL Encode, which only encodes non-alphanumeric characters, and 100% URL Encode, which encodes everything.

Also, this URL:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%50%77%6e%65%64%20%47%61%6c%61%78%79

is the same as

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Pwned%20Galaxy

or even

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Pwned Galaxy

though a well formed URL can't have unencoded spaces in it.
