- I know I made an account recently, but I cant login! What happened?

    There was an unfortunate event on which the entire site was backed up to June 30th, 2006. If you know you made your account after that time, then your account does not exsist anymore. You'll have to, unfortunately, make a new account. We are very sorry for this. If this is noth the case, and your account appears on the memberlist, you may want to contact an administrator.


- Why should I join Pwned Galaxy Board?

    At Pwned Galaxy Board, you can participate in posting, be able to login to both Pwned Galaxy and Gaming Galaxy (thus taking advantage of the features of Gaming Galaxy, as well), games and other random events. Once you join, you will be allowed to use all of our wonderful features, and meet other members.


- Ok, I joined. Now what?

    You can start by saying hello to everyone in Nooblette Land. If you have any questions contact a forum administrator or Owner.


- What are the board rules?

    First off, don't assume that our rules are the same as other boards. Just because spammy posts are OK on another board doesn't mean that they are here.

However, most of the rules aren't that hard to follow, and as long as you keep them in mind you should be all right.

DO:
  1. Follow the rules the local mods put out for their forums.
  2. LISTEN to the admins when they warn you.
  3. Enjoy yourself, and post frequently while obeying the rules.
  4. Use proper grammar and avoid l33t speak and AOL-speak (u, ur, y, in place of words such as you, you're, why). It's a good way to gain respect.
  5. Exercise common sense when posting.
  6. Exercise caution when posting threads about controversial topics such as religion.

DON'T:
  1. Spam
  2. Insult/bash video game systems and games without a perfectly good reason. (i.e. "DUD U SUCK IF U HAVE GAMCUB UR A GAY PKEMON KIDDIE")
  3. Be a bigot. Hateful, discriminating, or homophobic remarks are not welcome on this board. (DUDE THATS GAY STFU UR GAY)
  4. Bump (post in) old or outdated threads without having a genuine reason to revive it or having something worth adding to the thread.
  5. Create multiple accounts unless authorized to by an admin (for testing reasons, etc.). Creating a second account when banned will result in a permanent ban from the board.
  6. Ask any questions on the board that are answered in this FAQ.
  7. Post threads regarding layout testing. You can preview your layout in your user profile.
  8. Stick around if you hate this board. We don't want people going THIS BOARD SUX LOLOLOLOLOLOL DIE OF HIV.
  9. Act like the board is a chat room (post messages like "HEY GAMINGG", "I AGREE", "Whats up?", or similar messages directed to people). This is what private messages are for.
  10. FLAME, or purposely try to annoy people.
  11. Expect this board to be a utopia. People won't respect you if you act stupid or act as if you're better than everyone else.
  12. Ask to be a mod, suck up, or act like a mod. It's the quickest way NOT to get what you want.
  13. Threaten to hack the board. Chances are you can't. Besides, we have a few real hackers on staff who test the board constantly for any security problems.
  14. Post porn. Permaban on the spot.
  15. Post rom/warez links on the board. You're free to exchange links with others through private messages, but do not post them out in the open.
  16. Join the board with the sole intent of advertising your site/service/etc.
  17. Respond to a spammer attack/obvious flame. If it's obvious that the post/thread in question will be deleted, don't post and make fun of the person or ask for the post/thread to be taken care of.
  18. Double post or triple post or whatever. Double posting is posting two times in a row.

Keep in mind that you are fully responsible for your own account.

Certain mild rules (i.e. no posting off topic) can have exceptions if okayed by an owner or admin (such as threads in The Pit), however, some rules can have no exceptions whatsoever (i.e. posting of pornography).
